  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons black tea leaves or 2 tea bags
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • 2 –3 cloves optional
  • 1 small slice ginger optional

Method
 

Step 1: Heat the Milk and Water
  1. Combine milk and water in a saucepan over medium heat and bring it to a gentle simmer.

  1. Add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. Let them simmer for a minute so the flavours infuse into the milk.

  1. Add tea leaves or tea bags. Let it simmer for 3–4 minutes until the tea darkens and the aroma deepens.
